You can pick up the trailhead for this pawtastic hike at Round Valley Lake on Round Valley Road. Your journey will begin just off the parking lot which makes this hike very convenient. The trail is one mile in length and is suitable for all pup-abilities. Other names for this area are Bidwell Lake or Round Valley Reservoir.
This loop around the perimeter of the water allows you some quiet time together as you walk this paved and natural-surface path. Lots of small wildlife can be seen as you meander along the landscaped grounds around the lake. It is rated as easy to moderate, with just a small incline when you are treated to the portion of the trail that shortly juts into the surrounded forest.
