Description

Who’s pawtastic pup is ready for some outdoor adventure in the great state of California? Well pack them up and head for Triunfo Park where you will find a pup-friendly trail just waiting for you both!

The Triunfo Park to East Los Robles Trail offers you 5 miles worth of hiking fun where you can spend some quality time in the great outdoors with Fido. This is part of the Conejo Ridge Open Space which covers 331 acres and offers hikers spectacular views of the Conejo Valley for anyone who hikes this trail  There is also a west version of this trail, which can be combined for a longer trek.

Pick up this trail at the trailhead located in the Triunfo Community Park. Here you will locate restrooms and water fountains for your use before and after your walking adventure. The path takes you along grassy areas and brush on either side of the trail until you reach the ridgeline where you can see the entire Thousand Oaks region and often spot deer grazing nearby.

Your pup will appreciate the trees for shade, especially during the summer months. Mornings and early evenings are the best times to hike then to keep your pup cooler. The trail is wide and most acceptable for all fitness-level pups. Even those out-of-shape pupsters will enjoy this easy-rated trail.

You may see other trails that spur off East Los Robles Trail, but unless they are marked and named, avoid these unauthorized trails to allow the natural vegetation to grow back. If you plan to complete the entire hike, take plenty of water and snacks with you. Your pup should remain on leash throughout.

The Triunfo Park to East Los Robles Trail is pup-tastic, and certain to please every pup!
