Take a stroll along charming sidewalks with boutique storefronts in Belmont Center, the main retail region of the town of Belmont, Massachusetts. Sitting just west of Cambridge, this suburb of Boston may be small in size but offers many things to do with your pet. Belmont Center is a popular spot for shopping and dining and is a pretty place for a walk through town. Many of the small businesses sit along Leonard Street such as Rancatore's Ice Cream & Yogurt and Bellmont Café.

New England is a beautiful place for a walk with your pet, particularly during the spring and fall when the leaves on the trees around you are budding or falling. Check the weather before you go out as Massachusetts weather changes drastically. Winters bring heavy snow and freezing temperatures not ideal for a walk while summers bring sweltering days when the sidewalks might be too hot for puppy paws.
