Greenways from this park extend around the reservoir and provide a nice long walking path that is perfect for those with energetic pups.
Nearby, Riverbend Park is located along the Charles River. This is a traffic-free park with trails and access to the river bank. Lowell Park provides recreational facilities like basketball backstops and paved surfaces, seating areas, a climbing structure for local children, and a water/artwork element, as well as plenty of trees and green spaces. Other parks in the neighborhood include Larch Road Park and Longfellow Park.
