Lochwinds is a small subdivision within the larger Lochmere neighborhood and located in Cary, North Carolina. Just a few steps to the east of the Swift Creek Bluffs Nature Preserve is the Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve which is similar to Swift Creek in size and its variety of activities. It is also bordered by Harold Ritter Park which has multiple athletic facilities, playgrounds, and open green space.
