The White Oak neighborhood, unfortunately, does not encompass any green spaces. Given the fact that it is a residential area located in the suburbs of Raleigh, this is not too surprising. However, there are lots of great spaces in the neighboring areas which are not very far away. The foremost is Rothgeb Park which is located just northeast of White Oak Forest. This park totals almost seven acres and boasts spacious, grassy fields perfect for enjoying a game of frisbee, having a picnic, or playing games. Rothgeb Park is a lovely place to bring your pup to get some exercise and socialize with others, as long as they remain on their leash.

Roanoke Park is another great dog walking spot. Although it is small, the grassy fields are perfect for a game of fetch or some extensive exercise. Your pooch will love exploring these greener spots while taking a break from the urban cityscape.
