The boundaries of Kings Point include Long Island Sound to the north, Manhasset Bay to the east, Hicks Lane, Steamboat Road, and Arrandale Avenue to the south, and Little Neck Bay to the west. Kings Point Road, East Shore Road, Middle Neck Road, and Redbrook Road are major roadways through Kings Point, so pedestrians may wish to avoid them in an effort to avoid heavier traffic.

This 175-acre park is home to several sports facilities, a playground, picnicking and grilling areas, general recreation areas, and five miles of hiking trails! Unfortunately, there are no off-leash areas in Kings Point, but your dog is welcome as long as they remain leashed.
Other greenways include Steppingstone Park, Upper Roosevelt Field, and Parkwood Sports Complex. Steppingstone Park has a playground, benches, a pool, access to water recreation, and gardens for you and your pup to explore! Nearby parks within walking distance of the south part of Kings Point include Village Green Park, Memorial Park, Saddle Rock Park, and Allenwood Park. Unfortunately, the closest dog park is located across Little Neck Bay in the Fort Totten area.
