On the east side of Forest Hills, the vast 900-acre Flushing Meadows-Corona Park features two large lakes and acres of trees and open areas. These provide an excellent opportunity for walking, jogging, or cycling with your canine companion. The Underbridge Dog Run is associated with this park for off-leash play. To the south is Forest Park with 538 acres to roam through and explore with trails connecting to nearby greenways.
MacDonald Park is a uniquely shaped green space with a circular feature surrounded by a walking path. To the north of Forest Hills, Yellowstone Park has a playground and fenced dog run for your dog to enjoy off-leash play with other Forest Hill dogs.
Several playgrounds and the Pebblestone Triangle are located in Forest Hills. Although dogs are not allowed on playgrounds, these areas can be enjoyed from adjacent sidewalks. There is no shortage of greenways and trees to enjoy with your pup in Forest Hills.
