Grasmere-Concord is an interesting neighborhood located on Staten Island between Shore Acres and Todt Hill. In the center of the neighborhood is the Grasmere Lake and Eibs Pond Park and Deer Park are nearby. The ocean is not far from this neighborhood either, with its Ocean Breeze Park and waterside parks as well as the South Beach wetlands.

With all of this going on, you may be tempted out of the perimeter of Grasmere, but walking along the neighborhood streets of this community is very pleasant as well. While sidewalks are not wide and there is generally little, if any, divider between the sidewalk and street, the neighborhood streets of this community are not thick with traffic and the houses are set well back from the road. With grassy yards in front of homes, you'll feel like you have plenty of room walking your dog on a loose leash through Grasmere.
