There are many greenways and parks where you and your dog can relax and spend some quality time together playing a game of fetch or just running around. There are other area parks such as Frontera Park, Principe Park, and the smallest park in NYC. Known as Luke J. Lang Square, this park occupies 0.0002 acres and is located at the point of Fresh Pond Road, 59th Road, and 61st Street. The park honors a local citizen who served in World War I. Most of these parks offer pathways and other areas to explore, though they may require your pup to stay on his leash for your visit to keep him safe.
While they are large, some of the cemeteries in the area may not allow for your rambunctious canine pal, but the areas nearby and around the cemeteries may provide some nice little walking paths or sidewalks. Either way, you'll find some good space to explore at your pup's side.
