Randall Manor was one of the first established communities on Staten Island and is considered to be one of the most desirable locations on the island.  Many properties feature extensive gardens and landscaping, with large, mature, stately trees. Residences consist mostly of single family homes that feature a variety of unique architecture including Victorian, Tudor, Colonial and Cottage style buildings. To the north of the neighborhood, the Bergen Point East Reach waterway separates Randall Manor from New Jersey and provides waterfront views for locals in the area.  There are natural areas and industrial properties along the waterfront as well as the north border of the botanical garden and museum.

Allison Pond Park has a quiet pond that locals and their pets can enjoy with a fountain and open green spaces.  The park is welcoming to dogs and your canine companion is allowed off leash in the field at the end of the trail. The area is not fenced however, so be sure to keep an eye on your dog and ensure you have good recall.

There are several green spaces, natural areas, and trails along the waterfront in this tranquil community to enjoy strolling with your dog. Be sure to keep your dog leashed in these areas, and clean up after your pup to ensure he remains welcome.

 The Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden features beautifully crafted gardens, a museum, fountain, cultural centre, sports fields, and monuments. Walkways along roads in the area allow dogs on leash, but check for regulations in the area as accessibility for pets is subject to change.
