From beautiful boardwalks along the Hudson River to short pathways along historic farms of the past and more, there are many opportunities for wonderful dog walking in Tribeca New York. If your wild pup is looking for some off-leash fun, you'll also find a few gated dog parks where you can get out, play with other dogs, learn to socialize and connect with other dog-loving humans to meet up with for dog walks to come. Tribeca is a great neighborhood for dogs and their humans.
Though there are several dog parks in the area that provide off-leash fun, most of these are gravel or manmade terrain with little access to green grass for running. This probably won't matter too much to your dog because they have everything else he needs including high fences, water fountains, double gates, and plenty of furry friends to romp with, play fetch, or just get out and meet some furry partners.
There are also two off-leash dog areas you can take your pup to. In the Hudson River Park, you'll find a fenced dog area at Pier 26. Fresh, running water is available for the dogs from mid-April through November, and there are plenty of benches to sit on and chat with other dog owners as your pup plays.
