Williamsbridge is a neighborhood of the north-central section of the Bronx. Its boundaries are generally defined as East 222nd Street as its northern border with the neighborhood of Wakefield next door. To the east, you’ll find Boston Road and Laconia while, if you head westwards, you’ll come across Gun Hill Houses on White Plain Road. Just south of Williamsbridge is the Parkside Housing Project and Allerton.
On White Plains Road, you’ll find Petland Discounts, a retail chain store with everything you need for your puppy friend from toys and grooming products to food and leashes. There are miles of walking trails in this expansive park along with dogs runs, a large lake, and even a golf course!
To the east of Williamsbridge, you’ll find the small recreational ground that is Seton Falls Park. This is another great option if you’re in search of wild terrain. While it’s not as large as Van Cortland, its more easily accessible if you’re in the east of the neighborhood, making it ideal for evening and weekday walks.
