Thankfully, beyond Belt Parkway and Cross Bay Boulevard, there are no other major roadways for pedestrians to avoid in Howard Beach.

While there is only one greenway in Howard Beach, it takes up at least a fourth of this coastal neighborhood! Spring Creek Park is most well-known for being home to undeveloped wetlands and for being a great location for bird watching!
