Pet owners who enjoy walking their dogs daily will be met with a variety of weather conditions throughout the year. Winters are cold with sub-freezing temperatures and snowfall. When blizzard conditions are occurring, you may need to postpone your daily outing with your pup. Have a warm coat and good footwear for regular winter walks and, if your dog has short hair, your pup might appreciate a coat too! Summers are warm and usually not too hot, making them pleasant for walking with your canine companion. Severe thunderstorms do occur during warmer months, however, and should be avoided as they can produce dangerous conditions.
This roughly square-shaped neighborhood can be divided into four distinct quadrants. The southwest quadrant contains a commercial shopping area, the northwest has single-family homes, the northeast has open fields, and the southeast is occupied by a condominium complex. The single-family homes are well landscaped and have separate sidewalks for pedestrians, quiet roads, and are a good area for walking with your pup. The Trotters Chase Condominium complex does not have separate sidewalks and pedestrians need to share the road with local traffic.
