There is a fountain that people like to play in, recreational facilities, and events like concerts, a farmers market, and fireworks. There are five zones and several landmarks in the park with views of the river and boats along the waterway make a beautiful backdrop.
A greenway runs between the north and southbound lanes of Park Avenue, extending for several blocks and allowing people and pets to traverse the region on a grassy, tree shaded area. Several small squares and parks in the area include Lownsdale Square, Keller Fountain Park, Pioneer Courthouse Square, and Director Park.
There is an off-leash, enclosed dog park in the Pearl District that is part of Fields Park where your dog can play loose with other area canines.
