The weather in eastern Pennsylvania changes year-round, so be sure to check the forecast before you head out on your walk. The spring and fall months are more mild with some rainfall. Winters can be mild or extreme in terms of snowfall, depending on the year. The summer can be hot and humid, so try to walk your pet in the mornings before the temperature rises.
The neighborhood's southeastern border, Mill Creek Parkway, is a fairly busy road with no sidewalks. Try to avoid walking your pet on this side of the parkway to avoid dangerous situations with heavy traffic. Otherwise, most of the area is very peaceful thanks to its small-town location. Oak Tree Hollow is a fairly small community and it only takes about 10 minutes to get from one side of the neighborhood to the other. You can make your walk as long or as short as you want, but expect to be looping around the neighborhood a few times.
On the other side of Mill Creek Parkway outside of Oak Tree Hollow is Brook Park, one of Levittown's sprawling greenways. There is a basketball court and baseball field, picnic tables and grills, and grottos offering shade. The park is a favorite community spot for many residents and their pets, as long as they're on a leash.
