“I’ve had a hard time finding a food that would not make my cat sick. He loves both the wet and dry Nulo food. He does not get sick with this food. It’s worth the price.”

“I bought this food originally when my kitty was a kitten. It said good for cats and kittens, and I loved the ingredients and the amount of protein in it. The small disks my kitty also loves; he seems to be able to eat them a lot easier than bigger pieces. I put this food in hunting mice and hide them around the house. My kitty is just over a year old now, and he still loves this food. I like the brand Nulo a lot, and I’m open to trying their different options to dry food as well. For now, I will continue to repurchase this as needed.”

“For households with multiple cats, this kibble really suits a variety of cat needs. I've got 6 cats ranging from a few months to many years old. Their bowel movements are solid with no issues ever. Everything from consistency to color. Their prebiotic and probiotic formulation really works. This is pricey so it's not a staple for me, but it is on my rotation. I like to introduce my cats to a variety of food so that they don't become intolerant.”

Nulo was founded by Michael Landa in 2009. Landa, a former biomedical engineer, was previously the founder of a pet care company in California, which he was inspired to create by the lack of suitable overnight sitting and care options for his Labrador, Max.

While running his business, Landa soon became aware of the rise of diabetes and obesity in pets, which he concluded was contributed to by poor-quality diet. So he set out to create a food that was high in animal protein and without the high-carb fillers of some other brands. He moved to Austin, TX, and launched Nulo.

Nulo has not been the subject of any recalls.
