Located in the southwestern edge of Dallas, Texas, Bonton is located in one of the most natural areas of the entire Dallas/Fort Worth region. Although this is great when it comes to having scenery on your daily walks, unfortunately, for this reason, it came as no surprise that there are very little pet services within a close distance. However, despite their lack of competition, the services in the area hold themselves to high standards and regularly provide stellar customer service that you will love having around.

Pet grooming is the one area that has a decent amount of options in this area. Some of the best grooming shops include Downtown Dog, Karmic Pet Services, and Pawshakers Dog Grooming. Some great veterinary and hospital locations include Rutherford Veterinary Hospital and Spay Neuter Network. The Spay Neuter Network can provide help for those who cannot afford the procedure on their own.

Bonton is a very rare find in the Dallas area, largely because it is almost entirely surrounded by green areas and natural bodies of water. This is an amazing perk to residents in the region because they get the convenience of the big city and the serenity of a more natural and less densely populated area.

This area is also a rare find when it comes to topography due to the local water supply. The rivers of the area tend to be on more hilly terrain which makes it easy to find a more hilly walking path. This is a great feature because although hilly terrain can be more dangerous, the location next to a water source makes it easier to stay on track and out of harm's way. It is much easier to navigate hilly terrain when it is mostly open and visible due to the water source as opposed to just a large forest.

This area definitely has no shortage of beautiful natural parks and sights. Anything from serene and quiet fields of green to activity packed neighborhood parks, this area's got it!

A great example of a more serene park in the area is Opportunity Park. This beautiful park features sports fields and courts, trails, a playground, and lots of lovely open green space. Some other great examples of this include the Texas Buckeye Trail Head, Sargent Park, and Moore Park.

A great example of a park still in a traditional style with more activities is Bonnie View Park. This park features several playgrounds including one with an exciting water feature, a baseball field, sports courts, trails, and so much more! Some other similar parks include Gateway Park and Joppa Park. Finally, for something a little bit more unusual, Friends Of Fair Park is a historic world country fair site featuring museums, gardens, a cultural center, and even an aquarium!
