The area is well-known for its nightlife scene, so if you want a more relaxing walk, plan for a morning excursion. If your pooch loves people, an afternoon or early evening walk is perfect. If you're looking for an expansive stretch of grass, head north of the neighborhood. Central Square Park offers walking paths away from the roads under shady trees. The best part is that next door is Swiss & Liberty Dog Park where you can set Fido free for some leash-free fun. Just north of there is Exall Park, a larger area featuring longer walking trails, playgrounds, and athletic fields. Just remember to keep your pooch on a leash in these spaces.
