Gribble is a great little area on the very edge of northwest Dallas, Texas. Although it is located in Dallas, there is a surprisingly low number of local pet services. This is unfortunate given he great location perfect for suburban families, however, this is a particularly newly remodeled area so hopefully there will be more options to come in the future.

It isn't all bad, however! There are some great and dependable local options who have been making the lives easier of local pet owners for a long time. Some great grooming locations include Furry Tails, Pet Love, and Jossi Lu House of Grooming. There is also a really fun pet training location called the Dallas Dog Trainer. Finally, there is a great specialized pet supply store known as the Valley View Pet Health Center. It not only features every pet healthcare product you can imagine, but some check up services that can help keep your pet healthy

Mostly Flat
Mostly Hilly
Gribble is surprisingly wealthy in parks and bodies of water which add to the hilly and natural terrain of the area. However, most of these areas feature the common neighborhood parks that can be found throughout most of the Dallas area. Although these parks are nice, they offer less hilly terrain for most, leaving the overall part of the area very flat. They are also usually man-made which takes away from some of the natural feel of most parks.

Although this can seen disappointing for some, it is actually perfect for others who do not necessarily put a high amount of hilly natural views high up on their priority list. This is a perfect place for a busy family! This is partially due to the high safety level of most of these parks as well as the closeness and ease that comes along with living in a big city.

This area is great when it comes to greenways because it has a variety that is very hard to find within the Dallas area. Although there are several great neighborhood park options, there are also some beautiful waterways and trails that really shake things up in this small Dallas neighborhood.

A perfect example of all of these features coming together beautifully is Spring Trail Park. This lovely area has equestrian trails, walking trails, and river views all meeting in the middle at a very calming green field. Another great park with a more neighborhood feel is T.W. Richardson Grove. This cute park packs a punch with a canoe launch, paths, and picnic areas all following the Elm Fork Trinity River.

For a park with more activities for children or sports-oriented people, Oran Good Park is a great option. This park has lit baseball and softball fields, a playground, and picnic spaces.
