Holiday Park is located in North Dallas, Texas. This is a small private residential community with 294 residents. Locals enjoy a private park in the center of the neighborhood with amenities like tennis courts and a community pool. There are some schools and churches nearby and a large commercial area with shops, restaurants, and other services located a few blocks to the east.

The climate in Dallas rarely produces cold temperatures for pedestrians to contend with and is relatively warm, even in the winter. However, cool weather and freezing rain sometimes occurs, making footing treacherous. Fortunately, these events are generally short-lived. Consider postponing your daily walk with your dog until ice-coated surfaces thaw. Summer days can become extremely hot with generally dry weather. Avoid walking your dog in the heat of the day as you and your dog can experience heat-related illnesses if you overexert yourselves. Check the forecast if you don't want to get wet as thunderstorms are frequent.
