As a very affluent neighborhood, a walk here means admiring beautiful homes and historic buildings, such as Highland Park Village, a shopping mall built in a Spanish colonial style. You can even take your pet inside the building to explore! If you really want to take your pet shopping, head north to the University Park area. There's a pet supply store as well as Lucky Dog Bakery, a local shop selling homemade pet goods and other supplies.

With such a large area comes many places for parks and grassy areas. Fido will love Park Cities because of the many greenways the neighborhood offers. Start your adventure in the center of the neighborhood at Lakeside Park and follow the trails along Turtle Creek. Along the way, you'll find scenic water views as well as the unique Teddy Bear statues. To the north is Williams Park, a greenway with benches for resting alongside a pond with pretty fountains. Right above Williams Park is Goar Park, a peaceful greenway with a gazebo and gardens. 

Another relaxing area to explore is Curtis Park where you'll find pathways set along well-maintained foliage. North of there is Caruth Park which features old bridges over scenic creeks as well as a playground and some athletic fields. At Park Cities' northern border is Coffee Park, a square greenway with walking paths around courts and a playground.
