The South Boulevard Park Row neighborhood is a historic district with just over 100 houses on Edgewood, Park Row, and South Boulevard on the southwest side of Oakland Avenue. The neighborhood sits off Highway 45 loops and interchanges into the community. These 9 blocks are almost all that is left of homes built from 1910 until 1935. Declared a historic district in 1977, the district is one of twenty historic districts within the City of Dallas. As a solely residential neighborhood, you will not find any dog-friendly restaurants or businesses within the small community.

Kimble Park is at Pennsylvania and Edgewood, just about three blocks to the southeast. This is a small 1-acre park that has a playground and outdoor basketball court. It can be a great pit stop for you and your pup on a longer walk as the park supplies drinking fountains for water bottle refills.
