Just across the freeway is TC Jester Park. This is a large greenway with lots of recreational facilities and natural areas adjacent to a bayou. The White Oak Bayou Greenway trail runs along the waterway and provides lots of hiking opportunities for you and your pup. Watch out for cyclists and other users and keep your dog leashed in this area. There is an off-leash dog park in this greenway where your pup can play as well! Your dog should be well socialized and have good recall to use this park area.
The TC Jester Park can only be accessed by crossing the freeway. There are several roads running under the freeway that provide access to the area, but not all have safe pedestrians ways so plan your route accordingly.
