Denny Triangle is a district located just north of Seattle's central business district and is minutes from all the amenities provided in the downtown core. Denny Triangle itself is packed with theatres, hotels, restaurants, shops, and nightlife, all within easy walking distance for residents who do not require a vehicle to get around the area.

There are two veterinarians in the area, Urban Animal and Third and Stewart Animal Wellness, for pet owners to access. If you want to stop for a bite to eat while walking with your dog, there are several dog-friendly eateries that allow pets on their outdoor seating including Blueacre Seafood, Millers Guild, Mistral Kitchen, Great State Burger, and Barolo Ristorante.

Seattle pups and their people enjoy warm to mild weather most of the year, although there is some cool weather in the winter months. Rain is a frequent occurrence in this coastal city. You will need umbrellas and rain jackets to stay dry while strolling around Denny Triangle.

Denny Triangle is situated on what was formerly a hill north of downtown and was flattened to create level ground for urban development in the early 20th century. Now relatively flat, this area does not have steep hills, however, it is a highly developed urban environment with high rise office and apartment towers, multi-story buildings, residential, commercial, and industrial activity with lots of traffic. Your dog will need to be comfortable being near vehicular and pedestrian traffic to enjoy walking in the area.

The streets in Denny Triangle have sidewalks lining them, so you do not have to share the road with traffic, but you should keep your dog leashed and teach your pup to wait patiently at intersections. You and your pet should only use controlled pedestrian crossings in this heavily trafficked area.

The area is loosely defined, but is generally described as being bordered by Denny Way on the north, Third Avenue on the southwest, Olive Way on the southeast, and Interstate 5 on the east.

Denny Triangle canines have lots of options for designated dog parks in the region. Denny Park is located just north of Denny Triangle and is easily accessible. There are walking paths that wind around large maple and pine trees with garden plantings providing color and beauty to the park. This park also has an off-leash area that is fenced and double gated to contain your playful pup.

Regrade Park is also located in the Denny Triangle area and has water fountains and artwork in an urban park setting. This park also provides a small off-leash dog park with a five-foot fence and double gates to prevent escapees. There is lots of traffic and noise nearby, but this off-leash park does provide a conveniently situated play area for your furry friend.

Amazon has developed an enclosed dog park for their employees so they can bring their pups to work. The Amazon Day 1 Dog Park is a small but interesting off-leash park situated by the Amazon building.
