Less than five minutes in the car can take you to Twin Ponds Park in the Parkwood neighborhood. This park has parking, making the short jaunt there easy on foot or in your car. Meridian Creek runs through this lush, green area and a walking loop will take you and your pup along its chirping waters, with a pit-stops at two ponds and a mini cedar forest.
There's also James Keough and Darnell parks, but both are small and not always well-maintained.
