About the caregiver

Aloha, my name is Abigayle Claus. I’m from Illinois, and I’ve been going to school on this island for three years now. I am pursuing multiple degrees, but most importantly, my masters in archaeology is in the works. I grew up taking care of two dogs, Copper the Cavapoo and Bandit the Terrier. My family and I recently lost Copper to age, 16, and I’ve been thinking about her life more frequently as of late. Our favorite things to do together were going for walks, doing tricks, and sunbathing. I miss doing these activities with my girl Copper, so why not give this a try?
