About the caregiver

Hi, I am a local student in the area but also an avid animal lover of different breeds and sizes. I grew up playing with and assisting in the training of guide dogs for persons with visual impairments. Through this process I worked with and gained experience for dogs of all different levels of age and maturity. I would consider myself quite athletic and enjoy long hikes so there should be no concern regarding the physicality or stamina of larger breeds; however, I would consider myself soft-natured as well so my approach for more energetic dogs would be calm and controlled. Having a healthy relationship and mutual respect between myself and the pet is crucial to ensuring an enjoyable experience for the pet and myself. I would finally consider myself to be detail-oriented and communicative so keeping an eye out for any ailment your pet may have is of great concern to myself and I intend to be proactive in communicating these concerns to you, the pet parent.
