About the caregiver

I am currently a Senior Zookeeper at Wildlife Safari Park and have worked for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium in animal husbandry for nearly eight years. Before moving to Lincoln, I was a pet sitter and dog walker on Rover for over a year in the Omaha area. In college, I worked at Camp Bow Wow in Lincoln overseeing canine behavior in the play yards. In addition to my experience with cats and dogs, much of my zookeeping career has focused on companion parrots. I am skilled at administering medication including injectable insulin. Also, I am versed in the basics of animal training through positive reinforcement.
