About the caregiver

I’ve lived in the area for 13 years, during which we have tried to explore the trails and walking systems around. I enjoy walking and running when I’ve done it more. I try to volunteer in the community when I have opportunities to, with schools or locals. I’ve been a pet caretaker since I was in high school, where I used to. Care for a home that had 7+ cats. It was a lot but some cats weren’t up to visitors so it didn’t feel overwhelming. I’ve done in house pet sitting while parents are away on trips since 2012. I also do daily home visits, or multiple times a day depending on the pets needs. I’m cool with leisure pets who just want to see a human, and I’ve found walks with pets are good for those who need to expend some anxious energy while they’re home alone. I’m not squeamish about medicines as long as I understand well how the pet needs them administered. I’m willing to walk, bike, or drive. My schedule moves with my families’. We have two Labrador-Springer spaniels, who are a lot of energy. One resource guards so it’s not out of the ordinary to monitor meals and separate pets if needed. Keeping up with ours means I don’t offer boarding currently, but with enough socialization we can work towards that goal.
