About the caregiver

Professional trainer with over 8 years experience caring for, evaluating, and training dogs and their parents. I believe in using a thoughtful approach to find solutions that will work for pet and parents regardless of schedule or lifestyle. My philosophy is to keep it simple while relying on the Humane Hierarchy of Behavior Change and using a Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive approach possible. Positive engagement and praise will always outperform punitive strategies, and I always seek to find ways to make even the most challenging tasks fun and engaging for pet and parent. All dogs want to be good, it's just up to us to figure out how to help them do it.
