About the caregiver

Hello pet parents!! I am called Ashley and I love working with animals. I enjoy working with dogs at all skills levels. I have experience with all levels of skill from puppy to senior, from first time leash wearer to trained show dogs. I have a particular fondness for those dogs who have an emerging skill set or who are set in their ways. I have worked as a dog groomer for a number of years and have enjoyed working with my own “untrainable” rescue dogs to help them develop a skill set that allows them to have a positive and safe experience on the leash and to become certified as both k-9 good citizens and therapy support animals. I have no expectations that every dog will be perfectly skilled on the leash but I have every belief that every dog is trainable and worthy of time, effort, and love. I fully believe that a well mannered dog is a Happy dog and I am fully committed to the belief that all dogs are good dogs and that all dogs are trainable. I like to incorporate skill building and enrichment into every walk and visit to keep the mind engaged and motivated and to ensure the proper and safe burning off of K-9 energy!
