About the caregiver

Hello! I love animals - I’ve had cats my whole life, volunteered at animal shelters, raised chickens, and enjoy the opportunities I have to watch a friend’s dog. I’ve studied dog behavior by reading behavioral and training books and watching training videos with an emphasis on understanding them, positive training, and knowing how to recognize signs of distress or illness. I prepared so much because I anticipated adopting my own big dog soon and prepared for over a year, but unforeseen circumstances has put that on hold. So instead, I’ve signed up to volunteer at shelters again, and also, Wag! I look forward to meeting your furry family members. Outside of animals, I work from home writing and editing articles about video games and am generally a big nerd with a big heart.
