About the caregiver

I have been an animal lover my whole life, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for the past 6 months doing dog walking and socialization, and I have been trained in how to handle dogs with anxiety and aggressive dogs. I am also certified through Red Cross in cat and dog first aid. As an animal shelter volunteer I have gained valuable experience with dogs from all walks of life and lots of new furry friends. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years, and when I moved to Redding for ministry school, pet sitting was part of how I helped support myself through school. I had 4 dogs growing up, the last of which was a family dog we had for 11 years (black standard poodle).
