About the caregiver

Hi! My name is Dana. I have a 4 year old pit bull named Sage who is an absolute mush. We lost our other beloved dog Harley in Oct 2023 due to chronic kidney disease. Needless to say I have a lot of experience when it comes to care. Taking care of Harley consisted of continuous vet visits, administering fluids 2x/day at home, keeping a tight schedule with her new diet and meds. Sage is a typical pitty with bad skin allergies, so she now has fresh home cooked meals and a schedule of her own with meds and injections at the vet. I practice a lot of canine enrichment with my dog. We go on plenty of sniff walks, I set up puzzles for her, and do a lot of things to keep her busy and her brain active. I am a part time dog walker during the week and have dogs of all different breeds and individual needs. What I love the most is that they recognize my car as I pull up and know they are going on a great walk. Honestly, I am probably on a bunch of Ring cameras saying “good girl/boy” and giving them a lot of love and attention as we go on our walks. As it is fun, I also take what I do very seriously. I wouldn’t trust my fur baby with just anyone so I offer that same compassion and respect with each client, ensuring their beloved animals are in great hands and most importantly, kept safe. I always carry an extra leash in my backpack as well as a poop bag holder/clip so both of my hands are available as I’m not carrying the bag once they do their business.
