About the caregiver

Hey there! My name is Dhrue, but you can call me Rue. I’m a 22 year old who graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology from the illustrious Fort Valley State University. I am new to the Athens area, since I had to move here to complete my clinical rotations at the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and I now work there as an intern! (Soon time be licensed technician) I have been working/studying in the veterinary medicine field since I was in highschool! I love ALL kinds of animals from your basic dogs and cats to turtles, birds, ferrets, you name it! I love to go on walks and spend time outside- I’m a nature girl at heart. I love all kinds of plants, trying new foods, and diving into new worlds with a new book to read (always have been and always will be a book worm 🤓) I have a cat named Ginger and back with my parents we have a puppy name Ace! Through life, I’ve had all sorts of animals including a tortoise, a cockatiel, fish, frogs, cats, and dogs, and probably more I can’t even remember. I can’t WAIT to meet your fur babies :))
