About the caregiver

Hi! I am new to wag but not new to dog walking. I worked as a dog walker for another company for a few years in college. Most of the time was walking but I also was in the doggy daycare and petsat on holidays. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and special requirements. I also was a regular volunteer with Houston SPCA in the small dogs/puppy area. I am getting back into this because I really love dogs and enjoy spending time outside with them. I love being able to brighten a dog’s day while their parents are at work! I like to tailor each walk to the dog. If they are older or a small dog that may mean more time sniffing the flowers where high energy dogs need that midday energy release. I am more than happy to accommodate any requests from pet parents. I hope to make this a smooth and stress-free walk for you as well as your pup. I can’t wait to meet lots of new faces and take them on their midday adventure! ABOUT ME-I grew up in Houston and always had big dogs. I have a 9-yr old rescue named Shiner. You can see him in my profile picture. We’ve been best friends for 6 years now! (Wow! Time flies!) When I was working full time I also used Wag with him. I know what it is like from a pet parent perspective. I had mostly good experiences but some issues. I aim to be prompt, communicative, and prepared so you can avoid those issues and trust that your fur baby is in good hands! Please reach out if there is anything else you would like to know
