About the caregiver
New to this type of work but the world has changed so extra income being around animals would balance all the craziness..with that said, I have given 150% of my time caring for my dogs, I watch what they try to put in their mouths on walks to shooing bugs off their fur. I adopted Gracie at a yr old in 2001, she was full of energy and happy..she past at 19yr old...my greatest love.❤..along with Angel in 2000. Presently I'm a part time nanny, working 2/3 days which alternate weekly, and am always off at 5pm. Preferably for first time visits, a few hours to a day notice is ideal for me..due to traffic or I may be in the middle of taking care of my own dogs.. My experience with dogs were all non paid. Having owned 5 all together in my life (a pair at a time) I've house sat and walked my brother's 3 dogs in the past led me to walk 5 dogs at a time..I've cared for a roomates blind & deaf 20yr old chihuahua along with her 2 dogs...I sat with them, fed them. It was hard to leave the blind dog, he enjoyed massages. My very first dog Angel was diagnosed with diabetes, which I had to administer insulin shots(not my favorite). My experiences were all with medium to small dogs until 5 yrs ago my brother rescued a large very strong but well trained pit bull, Zeus, I love how well behaved he was/is, as long as I refocused his attention while walking I wouldn't have to muscle the walk. Well, I can go on further back to a single evening in puppycare, for now..thank you for your time.
