About the caregiver

“It takes a village to raise a child” was a phrase I heard often growing up. Where I’m from, this phrase emphasizes the importance of a communal effort when upbringing a child. Now that I'm an adult, I wholeheartedly believe this can also apply to our furry friends! I’m Erykah and I have become very passionate in the loving and caring of pets. Growing up, I’ve had plenty of access to pets, primarily cats and dogs through owning some myself and through other family members. Recently, I’ve had the great responsibility of caring for my cousin’s German Shepard-Husky mix. Through this time, I've discovered one major key about taking care of dogs - they’ll love you if you love them back. As a recent college graduate who works from home, I am fully prepared to open my home, while also directing my time and attention to caring for your dog. This means providing a sense of safety, quality play time, and the necessary amount of walks your doggie may need daily! You can 100% rely on me to love and care for your dog in my hands :)
