About the caregiver

Hi, I’m Heather! I earned my Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2016, have officially worked with dogs since then because I realized that is where I belong, and have worked as a Vet Tech for 3 years now. Working in a these settings have given me the opportunity to work with different temperaments of dogs on a daily basis and I am happy to accommodate your dogs’ needs. I love all dogs and have worked with a multitude of different ages, breeds, sizes, energy levels, etc. (newborns to seniors). Experience with pet owning and sitting began in childhood. I have been working with dogs officially for 7 years now and couldn’t be happier to brighten your pets’ days! I know what it’s like to leave your loved ones at home, so I make sure to give them plenty of love at each and every visit. I currently own a 13yr old lab-boxer mix and a puppy Weimaraner mix. I am invested in giving all dogs the love, care, and compassion they deserve and treat your pets as if they were my own. I love being able to experience each pets’ personality/work with them accordingly. Safety, enjoyment, and top quality care are priorities, so we will ensure that! :) I am a very detail-oriented and follow requests diligently. I currently live in Burke with a very large fenced in yard (approx. 1/4 acre) in the back. The dogs love it! It reminds me of our own dog park.
