About the caregiver

Hi! My name is Jacklyn! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, I’ve always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house (alongside the additional bunny and guinea pig.) My mother has been heavily involved in animal caretaking for over 30 years and as a child I would always come along to petsit for animals of all kinds. For 8 years, I volunteered at a local Animal Shelter and spent time walking, playing, cleaning, and caring for the dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and medical backgrounds. I have also been continuing to care for and walk friends and family members’ dogs in my own spare time while they are at work or away on vacations. I have experience with caring for special needs dogs, as well as senior dogs who need some extra love! I have a very flexible schedule working remotely from home, and can’t wait to meet some new furry friends!
