About the caregiver

Hello all and thank you for considering me to care for your special fur baby. I am Jamilla, born and raised in a small town in Westchester County, NY. My love for animals started very early as I grew up with two Dachshunds of my own, Rocky and Scooter. My first job was as a pet sitter, I would watch my neighbors pets during the summer days and as I grew up my passion never went away, I later then became a pet groomer and a volunteer for a few different animal shelters. While living abroad I also founded a non profit organization that helps abandoned animals find forever homes. My ultimate goal is to stop animal homelessness globally and to give lots of love to any animal that crosses my path because they deserve it. My favorite part of working with wag is that I’m able to help bring joy to the pups that might feel lonely during the day while their families are working. Seeing their happy faces brings me so much joy. It is very important to me that I am able to bring comfort to the pet parents and assure them that their fur babies are well taken care of and protected with me. I’m hoping I could meet your little one soon and brighten up their day with my loving care.
