About the caregiver

Former co-owner of Calm Critters Pet Sitters of Portland OR, I was grateful to develop a solid working relationship with a group of awesome repeat clientele & their amazing furry families. Having recently relocated to Elgin, for family, I’m looking forward to establishing myself as the one to call when looking for kind, attentive, reliable, communicative & professional pet care. Possessing a compassionate heart, I worked in Alzheimer's & dementia care for 20+ yrs. After my spouse's passing in 2019, I decided to change my career to something that I have a passion for, & also adds more joy into my life. I have been grateful for the years of experience I've gained working with dogs & cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, & varying medical needs. The frequency in which my clients have expressed my passion shines through in the detailed updates & expressive photo's I send during my visits, fuels my drive for continued outstanding care! I understand that following your pet's routine is key for their comfort. You're the boss, so please let me know what you are looking for. While I may have some other walk or drop-in commitments during the day, booking an overnight stay with me, I set up your house as my "home base" returning to your furry fam after any other commitments. With me on the job, your pets will get all the love and attention they could want! I’m also happy to complete any home-related care. It is my goal to create a worry-free, stress-free pet care experience for everyone!
