About the caregiver

I am an avid animal lover and have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a little kid. I have had pet gerbils, mice, a guinea pig, fish, and of course, dogs, throughout my childhood and into my adult life. I have 5 years prior experience with a professional dog walking company and continue to take care of family and friends’ animals regularly. I have experience with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs, and I’ve never met one I didn’t love! I have found nothing to be quite as fulfilling as providing care for animals and would be honored to be trusted with the care of your precious pet. I’m the type of dog person that’s not afraid to get down on the ground to play with your pup or chase them around the yard for a solid ten minutes. I try to match your animal’s energy and engage with them as much as possible while I’m with them. I truly consider all of my furry, feathered, and finned clients my friends, and I always look forward to visiting and spending time with them. I’ve recently made a switch out of my full-time career in retail to be able to prioritize working with animals full-time. I travel all through Marshfield and the surrounding towns, and because of this have had the opportunity to work with many different clients and get to know a large variety of pets. I currently tend to have more availability in the mornings, as I do have several regular clients throughout the week and my afternoons can fill up, but I try to accommodate all the requests that I can! Please reach out to me with any questions or interest and I am happy to talk to see what we can make work for both of us. Notes for Booking: Meet and greets are always free! Please be aware when requesting a visit that because my schedule is so varied and takes me all around the south shore, I can only guarantee to arrive within thirty minutes of the time you requested (i.e. if you request a visit for your dog at 1 pm, your visit will start between 12:45 and 1:15). If you are requesting a half hour walk for your pet, please note that the visit starts as soon as I arrive at your house, so if the walk will need to take place somewhere other than your immediate neighborhood, that travel time is deducted from the total visit time. Please also note that a half hour walk and a half hour drop-in cost the same amount, as the amount of time spent with your pet does not change. The only difference is whether your pet will need a walk or not. :) Overnights: Typically, an overnight would start at some time around 6 pm and last until about 8 am, as my schedule allows. I ask my clients for some flexibility regarding overnight hours in case of late/early visits that I may already have scheduled. I sometimes have evening clients and so there is a possibility that I will have another visit that I need to complete while spending an overnight with your pet. The details regarding my overnight schedule and availability vary and I am always open to discuss what you need and work with you! I am a very reliable and attentive pet sitter and treat your animals as if they were my own. I believe in providing the safest walks possible for your pup and therefore prefer to use a six foot leash attached to a harness and collar. I can happily provide my own harness/leash if needed. Your pet will be well-looked after and provided with stimulation and exercise, food and water/medication if required, and plenty of love and attention during my visits!
