About the caregiver

I decided to retire from my 40 plus years of professional dog training in 2016 and now nearly 8 years later,I miss the companionship of the dogs. I want to enjoy dog companionship but without rigors of a large scale business to manage. I began my career with dogs in my teens working with guard dogs in 1982, certified groomer since 1998, certified K9 trainer for military working dogs, training dogs to find drugs, explosives and missing people. This was all very exciting but stressful. I am not military or law enforcement. I am just a dog lover that, by chance, became a professional trainer. I look forward to hanging out with your dogs and getting to know their personalities and interacting with them on their level. Walking, sitting, boarding, basic grooming and training are all services I offer. Also, I have always had cats. Their independence and affection was always welcome after long and vigorous days with the dogs. I hope to have both dogs and cats in my endeavors with Wag.
