About the caregiver

Hi! This is Josh. My dog-walking philosophy: When I walk a dog, we’re walking together. I have lived locally in Alexandria my whole life, and have a great understanding of where the best spots in the neighborhood are to walk dogs, and where not to. As a former lifeguard, I am trained in CPR/AED. Additionally, as a former Highschool athlete, I ran cross country and track all four years and continue to maintain an active lifestyle. I love dogs and cats (especially big energetic dogs), although I love dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I have been the main primary caregiver for my family’s two border collies, so I know that sometimes, dogs just need to run(and so do I!) I understand your dog/cat is a member of your family (probably the most important one!), and will be treated with the upmost respect and care as if it were my own kid. I can walk your dog, do grooming, feed and provide care, dog-sitting at your place, and even entertain to the very most of my ability. I can feed and clean cats’ waste, and cat sit at your place. I am currently figuring out what trade school is next for me, so my schedule is extremely flexible.
