About the caregiver

Hello! My name is Julia and I am really excited to be part of this wonderful community. Moving out here from the east coast about 3 years ago and not knowing anyone at first, I knew I had to make new friends and fast. I am very outgoing and social and friends and family has been always a big part of my life. In the past I have lived in places where they didn’t allow to have pets and so I took the opportunity to help my friends who owned pets and I felt very lucky to be able to borrow them and take care of them while my friends were out of town. . Luckily almost all of my new friends I’ve made out here in San Diego had pets and over the time they trusted me to take care of their furry friends while leaving town. This really bacame such a great opportunity for me to bond with animals, make more friends while walking the dogs and I realized that I could help others with their pets as well that way while having a flexible schedule. I have been called a dog whisperer a few times. Go figure! I guess I was a dog in my past life as well.
