Care for NoCo’s Magical Creatures
About the caregiver
Greetings! I have been lucky enough to have spent the past decade working in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician. I have primarily worked as an overnight Emergency and ICU technician for the past 4 years and I worked in the ER/ICU throughout the pandemic. I have dedicated my life to the welfare of animals, and I worked through COVID because the animals also deserved a chance and a voice. I believe that animal safety and welfare always come first. I am certified in both Basic (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS). My previous experiences include working in general practice, ZCA/Exotics, large and mixed practice, and as a surgical technician. Wag! Is a perfect way for me to enjoy spending time with my animal companions while I currently pursue and pay for veterinary school. I have two kiddos: a Siberian Husky and a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd - they have my heart. I have experience in medication administration and treatment, breed traits, husbandry, geriatric care, and behavioral concerns. Overnights taught me a great deal of resilience, astute patient priority, and it reinforced the significance of taking time to get to know the animal. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, as well as walks, hikes, jogs or whichever preferences suit the needs, enrichment, and personality of your furry friend. After the grind of overnights, I would love to spend my time with your pet in the fresh air and taking time to relax and enjoy the little things.
