About the caregiver

I have lived with and taken care of animals for as long as I have been alive. I grew up with 3 Yorkshire terriers, birds, hermit crabs, hamsters and fish. Upon entering my adulthood I’ve had two rescues of my own: an elderly, special needs chihuahua and an active young terrier mix. Neighbors and family friends have relied on me for their pet sitting / house sitting for multiple years. My long-time clients have typically been active, medium-large size dogs that preferred their house over doggy care / kennel. I specialize in pets that have a medical condition and are elderly. I enjoy all pets but I have a special place in my heart for small dogs and bonded pairs. I’m a young professional, graduate of Columbia University and this is my side hustle because I truly love animals. I work fully remote from home so I typically can adjust my hours dependent on my meeting schedule , lunch schedule , and before / after work. This means that if you were to board that I would be home all day to give them TLC! I believe in holistic health of pets/dogs, beyond walking as the typical activity. I like to evaluate a potential pet client’s behavior before service in most cases when possible to get to know the client. You can count on me to be highly organized and attentive to your pet.
